Western Digital is well known by their good products on the storage market. On this article I'm going to give you a little review of all their My Book storage products.

My Book are external hard-drives that you can easily add to your computer and increase your storage capacity, these products are popular because of their prices, construction quality, and of course its simplicity.

For Instant storage you got the My Book Essential Edition 2.0 that is described as “Small, simple, elegant, and very easy to use”. This is all truth if you want to simply get more storage this may be the right choice.

This elegant external hard drive, reminiscent of a book, is the perfect solution. It takes no more space than a paperback book.

You can choose between 160GB, 320GB, 500GB, 750GB and 1TB.

In my opinion the 500GB is the right choice, its price is not to expensive and has a good relation storage/price.

well this is an improved version from the essential edition, this External HDD is made to be simply at home, has a feature that is is turned on and off at same time your computer does, an automatic backup service, and has a very cool capability called Capacity gauge that shows you how much of the disc is full by only looking at its front “rectangle” led.

Now the storage range starts at 320GB.

Additionally its color is gray and home edition is black.

This version is turned to video/photo edition/storage side, and is formated to be used with Apple computers. High-speed interfaces make this an ideal solution for creative professionals and video editors.
